New Home Basement Construction at Nalanchira, Trivandrum

AKS Constructions has started a new residential project at Nalanchira, Trivandrum — the basement and foundation work for a home owned by Mr. Sukumaran. This is the most important stage of any build, where the strength and long-term stability of the entire house is decided.

Laying a Strong Foundation

The foundation is the backbone of every home. For Mr. Sukumaran's residence, our team carried out careful site excavation, accurate positioning of the column footings, and placement of steel reinforcement (rebar) for the columns. As seen in the site photos, the RCC column footings have been cast with the starter bars rising up, ready to carry the load of the structure above.

Each footing is set at the correct depth based on the soil conditions of the plot, so the home stands firm for decades. Reinforcement detailing, concrete cover, and column alignment were all checked before casting.
